From the very first idea, she has accompanied the creation of the European University ENGAGE.EU.
The first task of ENGAGE.EU’s work package 4 (Engaged in Society) is related to mapping the structures, cultures, and processes on societal engagement. Here, the core objective is to start reflecting on our common understanding of societal outreach activities and to get an overview of existing practices for societal outreach within and outside the alliance.
Following our March call for participants, the ENGAGE.EU Student Circle on societal impact is now formed and running. On Tuesday, 2 May, the Circle held its first online session.

ENGAGE.EU’s third roundtable will focus on Artificial Intelligence and the interdisciplinary challenges that arise as a result.
February saw the formation of ENGAGE.EU’s Board of Learners (BoL). The Board will represent the interests of our learners’ group, which consists of over 100K students, alumni, and lifelong learners. Here, each member institution has a delegation of two representatives, which amounts to a total of 14 BoL members. One BoL member holds a seat on ENGAGE.EU’s Governing Board, and two further members take part in the Executive Committee.
